One Million Code to Community Released

Dr. Richard M Stallman, the founder of Free Software Foundation, dedicated one million lines of codes written by its students to the free software community on 25th January 2012.The initiative was undertaken by the members of the FISAT Free Software Cell (FFSC). In a meeting held in the college auditorium, Dr. Stallman released more than 100 projects developed by the students over the past two years under the GNU General Public License. The million code project was hosted in the website www.millioncode.fisat.ac.in.
