Learn technology in the company of nature - SWAN

30th January 2012

Green palms and meadows, a nature friendly environment away from the hullabaloo of city. That is the unique identity of FISAT. Yes, you will find irresistible to be a FISATian. To keep the rhythm, Nature Club SWAN, (Sanguine Workers and Admirers of Nature), was started in FISAT with motto “GREEN FISAT- CLEAN FISAT”.

Each of its programs is unique. This year SWAN members decided to make campus serene by farming vegetables. They together with the estate management cultivated Tapioca, Banana, bitter gourd, yam, ginger etc. in each and every corner of FISAT. To add to this, they have tried novel items like cabbage and cauliflower. The result was amazing. For sharing the excitement and harvesting, Mr. P V Mathew, Chairman, FISAT Governing body, Mr. K J Sebastian, Vice President, FBOAES, Dr. K S M Panicker, Principal, Dr. C Sheela, Vice Principal and Dr. Pailo Paul, Dean, Eng. Sciences joined them. Thrilled with the new experience they are now planning to adopt the whole agriculture work in FISAT campus and its continuation.
