FISAT in association with Union of Residents' Association of Aluva (URAA) has started a drive against addictions in campuses. The Lahari Muktha Nagaram project aims to create awareness among campus youth regarding the consequences of drugs, alcohol and smoking.
The programme was launched in FISAT by Padmasree Dr. Tony Fernandez. He Led the pledge taking ceremony. Several dignitaries including Mr. Chinnan Pynadath, Mr. P V Mathew and Dr. P S Sreejith attended the ceremony. Students took pledge to lead a drug-free life and encourage their friends and classmates to do the same and thereby build a foundation for a drug-free life and a safer community.
