ICEFOSS 2015 Inaugurated

ICEFOSS`15, two day Conference on FREE OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE was organized by Fisat Free Software Cell and the Computer Science Dept. Dr. V Sasikumar, Board Member, Free Software Foundation of India, inaugurated the meet. Mr. Paul Mundadan, Chairman, FISAT Governing body presided over the function. Dr. K S M Panicker, Principal, Mr. P I Bose, Treasurer, FISAT, Dr. Pailo Paul, Dr. Sunny Kuriakose and Dr. J C Prasad spoke on the occasion.

Free Software experts A Praveen, C E Pramod, C Mahesh, Meera Chandran, G Unnikartha, Jyothish John and Jestin Joy led workshops on Cryptography and Debi an, Django, Drupal, Data visualization and Free software in HP computing. Around 40 Project developed by Computer students based on Free software were also displayed in the meet
