National Workshop on ‘DSpace for Building Institutional Repositories and Digital Libraries’

A National Workshop on ‘DSpace for Building Institutional Repositories and Digital Libraries’ was jointly organized by Mahatma Gandhi University and Federal Institute of Science And Technology at FISAT, Angamaly from 21st – 25th October 2008.

Feed backs received from the delegates vouched the organizational excellence. The hospitality was well appreciated by the Officials from M.G University, Resource Persons and the delegates. Print and electronic media gave immense coverage for the workshop with reports and special stories.

The Workshop was sponsored by Federal Bank and Higginbothams. The Organizing Committee was headed by Dr. Pailo Paul, Principal, Dr. C Sheela, Vice-Principal, Dr. R Raman Nair, Librarian, M.G. University, Mr. Jose Mathew, Mr. P C Binu and Mr. Sino Varghese. The staff and students offered volunteer support for the workshop.
